Kondor Blue KB-BNC-35 10" BNC On 3.5mm Right-Angled Timecode- Cable

Kondor Blue KB-BNC-35 10" BNC to 3.5mm Right-Angled Timecode Cable | A short link for timecode

When two nearby pieces of equipment need a timecode connection, this short cable links a BNC socket with a 3.5mm connection. The Kondor Blue KB-BNC-35 is a 10-inch timecode cable with a right-angled 3.5mm plug. It suits a setup where those connections are close enough that a longer lead would leave extra cable to manage. That short reach is its main strength, and also the practical limit: it’s for equipment positioned close together, not for spanning a rig. The angled plug can be helpful where a straight plug would project outward, though the available clearance depends on the equipment and how it’s positioned. Match the cable’s two connector types to the timecode connections in your setup. If they’re the right fit and the devices sit within reach, this is a simple, compact way to make that link.

Where a short cable makes sense

A 10-inch lead is most at home when the connected gear is already gathered in one place. Think of a compact camera or recording setup where the two timecode connections sit near each other; the cable can bridge that small gap without a long loop of spare lead. The right-angle 3.5mm end also gives the plug a different profile from a straight connection, which may suit a tight arrangement. Its usefulness comes down to the actual socket positions and available room, so consider the route the cable needs to take as well as the distance between connections. There’s no extra reach to spare if the equipment is farther apart. For a close, tidy connection between BNC and 3.5mm timecode sockets, the KB-BNC-35 keeps things straightforward.
