Kondor Blue KB-CC80-TRB-BK Canon C80 Cage Top Rod Block Raven Black | A dedicated top-rod position for your C80 cage

When your Canon C80 cage setup calls for a top rod, it helps to choose a part made for that specific role rather than trying to adapt a general support accessory. The Kondor Blue KB-CC80-TRB-BK is identified as a Canon C80 cage top rod block: its job is to provide the top-rod position in that cage setup. It suits C80 owners planning a rig around a top-mounted rod, and is most relevant when that rod is part of the arrangement you want to build. The Raven Black finish gives the part a dark appearance alongside a black camera rig. This is a focused accessory, not a complete cage or support system, so its value depends on whether a top rod has a place in your setup. If it does, this is the specific component to consider; if it doesn’t, this block won’t add a role you need.

Specialist Note

“Is this the part for adding a top rod to a Canon C80 cage?” Yes—that’s the role its name identifies. I’d look at it if you’re building your C80 rig around a top rod and want a component specifically designated as the cage’s rod block, rather than a general-purpose accessory. The Canon C80 naming makes the intended camera platform clear, while “top rod block” tells you what job the part is for. Raven Black is a dark finish, so it suits a rig where you want the accessory’s appearance to stay understated. One honest point: it’s a very specific component; if your setup doesn’t call for a top rod, there’s little reason to add it.
