Kondor Blue KB-LSL2-BR-BK Leica SL2S/SL2/SL Basis-Rig MkII Raven Black
Kondor Blue KB-LSL2-BR-BK Leica SL2S/SL2/SL Basis-Rig MkII Raven Black | A clearly matched tripod accessory for Leica SL cameras
Choosing a tripod accessory can be a guessing game when its intended camera system isn’t clear. This Kondor Blue basis-rig accessory is identified for the Leica SL2S, SL2 and SL, so you can match it to one of those cameras without relying on a vague product description. It’s for Leica SL-series owners who want a basis-rig accessory as part of their tripod setup, rather than a general-purpose tripod item. The name also identifies it as the MkII version, in Raven Black. Its clearest strength is that specific fit: if your setup centres on one of the named cameras, the product is easy to identify and select. Keep in mind that its stated compatibility is limited to those three Leica models; it isn’t presented as a universal tripod accessory. That makes it a focused option for the right camera system, rather than a one-size-fits-everything purchase.
Specialist Note
For a one-camera tripod setup built around a Leica SL2, I’d look at this when you want a basis-rig accessory named for your exact camera system. The listing also names the SL2S and SL, which is useful if your setup centres on one of those bodies instead. Raven Black gives you a defined finish to consider when choosing gear to sit alongside your camera, while “MkII” clearly identifies this as that version of the basis rig. My advice is to keep the model names in view when choosing: this is a specific Leica SL-series accessory, not a universal tripod part. That focused fit is its appeal.
