Kondor Blue KB-SB-TNP Sony Burano Cage Upper Half NATO-Platte Space Grey
Kondor Blue KB-SB-TNP Sony Burano Cage Upper Half NATO-Platte Space Grey | A focused upper section for a Burano cage build
Its defining difference is its specific role: this Kondor Blue part is an upper half for a Sony Burano cage, rather than a general-purpose tripod accessory. It suits Burano owners putting together a rig who need this particular cage section and want a NATO-plate option in the build. The product name also identifies its Space Grey finish, useful when you want the component’s appearance to sit naturally with the rest of your setup. The NATO-plate detail is worth paying attention to when planning how the piece will fit into your rig; it’s the named interface, not a promise that every mounting arrangement will suit. This is best for someone who already knows they need the upper section of a Burano cage and is choosing parts with that configuration in mind. If you’re assembling a cage from components, it gives you a clearly identified piece to consider instead of buying a broader accessory that may not match your plan.
Choosing the right component
Think of this as a targeted cage component, not a complete cage or a standalone support system. That distinction matters when you’re comparing parts for a camera build: the title tells you both where it belongs in the cage and which plate style it names. It’s a sensible item to shortlist when those details match the setup you’re assembling. If you’re still deciding on the overall cage layout, first map out which sections and interfaces your rig calls for; that keeps this specific part in context and helps avoid choosing by finish or brand name alone.
Specialist Note
First-time cage buyers can mistake a named cage section for a complete cage; this one is specifically the upper half, so it helps keep your Burano build list focused on the part you actually need. I’d match the NATO-plate designation to the interface in your rig plan before choosing it—that detail is more useful than treating it as a generic mounting accessory. It suits Sony Burano owners assembling or refining a cage setup, especially when they’re selecting components one by one. The Space Grey finish gives you a clear visual reference when coordinating the parts. The honest limitation is right in the name: it’s one upper half, not a whole cage. The KB-SB-TNP identifier is useful when you’re comparing or sourcing that exact component.
