Laowa Lens Cap For 8-15mm T2.9 Cine (LAO-LC815)
Laowa Lens Cap for 8-15mm T2.9 Cine | Cover your cine lens between setups
This Laowa lens cap is made for the 8-15mm T2.9 Cine, so its purpose is clear: cover the lens when it’s off the camera or between filming setups. That specific pairing is useful if you want the cap for this lens rather than a general-purpose accessory. It helps keep dust and accidental contact away from the exposed front of the lens while it’s being stored or moved. For owners of the Laowa 8-15mm T2.9 Cine, it’s a straightforward part of packing and camera-prep routine: remove the cap before filming, then put it back on when the lens is idle. It’s a small accessory, but an easy one to overlook when packing a cine kit. Keep it with the lens and you’ll have it to hand when the lens needs covering.
Specialist Note
New cine-lens owners sometimes leave the front uncovered during the gaps between setups, not just during filming. This cap is intended for the Laowa 8-15mm T2.9 Cine, so keep it with that lens and put it on whenever the lens is set aside. The 8-15mm range identifies the lens it belongs with; that’s handy when you’re packing or changing lenses between shots. And the T2.9 marking is another useful part of its name to match when you’re sorting your cine gear. The cap’s job is simple: cover the lens while it’s not in use. It needs to come off before you roll.
