This is a Leitz HGOOL focusing mount fitted with a Zeiss lens head, both in metal construction. The HGOOL is a precision focusing helical originally designed by Leitz for use with lens heads (such as the Elmar 5cm or Hektor 13.5cm) in macro, Visoflex, or copying setups. It provides fine focus adjustment and is compatible with the Leica M39 screw mount system.
