Metabones Contarex - X-Mount Speed Booster Ultra (0.71X)
Metabones Contarex - X-Mount Speed Booster Ultra (0.71X) | Pair Contarex lenses with X-Mount
If you have a Contarex lens and want to use it with an X-Mount camera, the mount pairing is the first thing to sort out. The Metabones Contarex - X-Mount Speed Booster Ultra (0.71X) is a converter for that specific combination, so it’s aimed at photographers building around Contarex lenses and an X-Mount camera. Its stated factor is 0.71X; that’s the key detail to weigh when deciding if this is the right converter for your setup. It’s a focused piece of kit, rather than a general-purpose accessory. One honest point: the product name tells you the mount pairing and factor, but nothing about electronic functions or controls, so we won’t make claims about those. If those details matter to your work, they’re worth establishing before you settle on a converter.
