Built for photography students and enthusiasts, it offers full manual exposure control along with aperture-priority auto mode, making it an excellent choice for learning and creative control.

Its bright viewfinder displays the selected shutter speed via LEDs, and the camera supports all Minolta SR-mount (MD/MC) manual focus lenses — including the popular Rokkor series. The X-300 is battery-powered and features a reliable horizontal cloth shutter.
