Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male U/UTP 5.00m Round PVC Grey Label

Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male U/UTP 5.00m Round PVC Grey Label | A wired link with useful reach

Give two RJ45 sockets a wired connection without having to place them right beside each other. This Nedis CAT6 cable has a male RJ45 connector at each end and measures 5 metres, making it suited to a network setup where the cable needs to travel between separate points. Its CAT6 and U/UTP designations identify the cable type; the round, grey PVC cable is a straightforward option when you want a clear, physical link rather than a wireless connection. It’s useful for a home or work setup where the required route is longer than a short patch lead, but still within this cable’s reach. The practical benefit is simple: you can connect compatible RJ45 ports with one cable and plan its path around the space.

Before choosing a cable length, think about the route it will actually take, rather than measuring only the straight-line distance between the two devices. Allow for the path around furniture or along a wall, and for the points where the cable needs to reach each socket. Five metres gives you a defined limit, so it’s worth mapping the run first. The round shape and grey colour can also help you identify the cable when tracing a route or sorting several leads. Keep the cable’s path in mind when arranging your equipment; a connection is easiest to live with when the lead reaches without being pulled tight or left crossing a walkway.
