Nedis CAT6a Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 20.0m Snagless Round LSZH Grey Label

Nedis CAT6a Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 20.0m Snagless Round LSZH Grey Label | Reach network devices across the room

A wired network connection can reach between devices on opposite sides of a room, without relying on a short patch lead. This Nedis CAT6a cable is for a setup where both ends need an RJ45 male connection and the cable has to travel some distance. Its 20-metre length gives you room to route it around a workspace or along a planned path, rather than placing equipment right beside each other. The snagless design is intended to make the connectors less prone to catching as you handle the cable. It has a round profile and a grey finish, details worth considering when the cable will be visible or needs to follow an existing route. LSZH is part of the cable’s stated specification. It’s a straightforward option for extending a wired network connection; the main thing to plan is where the cable will run.

Planning the cable run

Before setting it in place, trace the route from one device to the other and allow enough room at each end to plug in without pulling the cable tight. A clear path makes it easier to keep the run tidy and reduces the chance of someone catching a foot or chair on a loose section. If the route passes around furniture, consider where the cable will turn and whether it can stay out of regular walkways. The round shape is a useful detail to keep in mind when deciding how it will sit along that path. And because both connectors are the same type, this cable suits a link where each endpoint has a matching RJ45 socket. It’s a practical way to plan a longer wired connection, but the route still matters as much as the cable itself.
