Nedis Netwerkkoppeling CAT5 OnShielded RJ45 Female RJ45 Female Straight ABS Box

Nedis CAT5 Unshielded RJ45 Female-to-Female Straight Coupler in ABS Box | Joins two RJ45 cable ends in line

The straight layout is the defining choice: this Nedis coupler joins two RJ45 cable ends in line, rather than turning the connection in another direction. It’s for someone who needs a female-to-female joining point for CAT5 network cabling. Both ends are RJ45 female, so the coupler sits between the cable ends; it isn’t a length of cable itself. The body is described as an ABS box, giving the connection a boxed form. Its unshielded design is worth bearing in mind when choosing a coupler for a setup that calls for an unshielded connection. This is a specific, simple part, best suited to joining two compatible cable ends without changing the connection’s direction. If that’s the job you have, the description tells you what matters: CAT5, RJ45 female at both ends, and a straight layout.

Choosing the right connection

Before adding a coupler to a cable run, match the connection you need to the layout named here. This one has two RJ45 female ends, so it’s the female-to-female format to look for when both cable ends need to meet at a coupler. “Straight” describes the connection arrangement; it doesn’t describe a bend or an angled outlet. The CAT5 designation and unshielded construction are also part of the product name, so keep those details in mind when selecting the joining point for your cabling.

How it fits into a cable run

Think of the coupler as a joining point between two cable ends, not as a replacement cable or as a different connector format. Its two matching female ports define that role. The boxed ABS body and straight form describe the physical design, while CAT5 and unshielded identify the cable type and shielding style named for this product. That keeps the choice straightforward: it’s intended for an in-line, female-to-female CAT5 connection.
