Nedis Network Cable CAT6 Solid F/UTP CCA 305 M Indoor PVC GY

Nedis Network Cable CAT6 Solid F/UTP CCA 305 M Indoor PVC GY | A long indoor run, cut to fit

What sets this Nedis network cable apart is the combination of a 305-metre length and solid CCA conductors, supplied for indoor use. It suits anyone planning cable runs around a home, office or other indoor space, especially when a single long length is more practical than buying several short cables. CAT6 identifies the cable category; the title also specifies F/UTP construction and a grey PVC jacket. That gives you the key details to plan around before installation. The cable is intended to be cut to the lengths your route calls for, rather than chosen as a ready-made patch lead. One honest point: the conductor is CCA, not solid copper, so it’s worth paying attention to that distinction when choosing cable for a particular installation.

Understanding the cable type

“Solid” describes the conductor construction and is generally associated with fixed cable routes, rather than leads that are moved and flexed regularly. CCA means copper-clad aluminium: the conductor uses an aluminium core with copper cladding. F/UTP describes foil screening around the cable, with the individual twisted pairs unshielded. These details can help you compare cable types and plan where this one fits your installation. The 305-metre length gives room to measure and cut more than one run, though the amount used will depend on your route. Its PVC jacket and indoor designation point to indoor installation; the title doesn’t identify it as an outdoor cable.
