Nedis Network Cable CAT6 Solid F/UTP Copper 100 M Indoor LSZH GY

Nedis Network Cable CAT6 Solid F/UTP Copper 100 M Indoor LSZH GY | A 100 m cable for indoor network runs

What sets this Nedis cable apart is the combination of a 100 m length and a solid, copper F/UTP construction for indoor use. It’s aimed at anyone planning a longer, fixed network route and wanting cable to cut to the run, rather than a short patch lead. CAT6 identifies its cable category; F/UTP describes an overall foil screen around the cable, with the twisted pairs themselves unscreened. The LSZH label means low smoke, zero halogen, and GY indicates grey. Those details make this a specific cable to choose by its construction and intended indoor setting, not by a camera connection or a plug type. If you’re routing network cable through a building, its length gives you room to plan a continuous run. One practical point: map the route before cutting, since a cut length is much harder to reuse elsewhere.

Planning the route

Start by measuring the actual path the cable needs to follow, rather than the straight-line distance between its endpoints. Allow for the route around corners and any detours required by the space. It’s also sensible to decide where the cable will begin and end before you cut, and to keep the measured pieces identified as you work. That keeps the job straightforward and helps avoid discovering that a section is too short after it has been cut. For a longer installation, a simple route sketch and written measurements can save time. There’s no benefit in guessing: a few minutes spent planning gives you a clearer idea of how much cable each run needs and where each cut belongs.
