Nedis Network Cable CAT7 Solid S/FTP Copper 50 M Indoor LSZH GY

Nedis Network Cable CAT7 Solid S/FTP Copper 50 M Indoor LSZH GY | 50 metres for a planned indoor network run

For a fixed indoor network route between two points, this cable gives you 50 metres to plan around. The Nedis Network Cable CAT7 Solid S/FTP Copper 50 M Indoor LSZH GY is a CAT7 cable with solid copper construction, S/FTP screening and an LSZH jacket, in grey. It suits a home or work space where a wired network connection needs to follow a longer route rather than sit beside the equipment as a short lead. Its strongest use is a planned installation: measure the path, then route the cable along the run you’ve chosen. The full 50 metres can help reach across a larger interior, though the actual route—with its turns and obstacles—determines how much cable you’ll need. It’s a straightforward option when an indoor cable with this length and construction fits the job. Plan the route and the connection points before you start.

Planning the route

Measure along the route the cable will actually take, rather than estimating from the distance between the two ends. Follow the planned path around corners and room features, and account for the cable’s entry and exit points. Keep it clear of places where a door, furniture or regular foot traffic could trap or damage it. It’s also worth deciding where the cable will be secured before you begin, so the finished run stays tidy and doesn’t cross an inconvenient part of the room. These simple checks make it easier to judge whether 50 metres will cover the installation and help avoid having to rethink the route halfway through.
