Nedis CAT6 Network Cable Roll | Set out a network run to the length you need

For a wired network connection along a planned route, this cable gives you a roll to work from rather than a fixed, pre-cut length. The Nedis Network Cable Roll is a 50-metre round CAT6 cable with stranded copper conductors and F/UTP construction, in grey. It suits a network run where you want to measure the route on site, whether that’s across a room or through a workspace. You can plan where the cable needs to go before deciding how much to use, instead of letting a short pre-made cable dictate where equipment sits. Its practical appeal is simple: a long roll for a custom-length network run. Measure the path the cable will actually follow, including turns, rather than relying only on the distance between the two endpoints.

Before you begin, trace the route and note any corners or detours. A cable run often has to follow the room, not a straight line across it, so allow for the path you’ve planned. Also think about where the cable will pass near furniture, doorways or other spots where it could be trapped or pulled. That bit of planning can save you from measuring too short or having to rethink the route once you’ve started. The roll format gives you room to plan around your own layout; the useful question is how the cable needs to travel between the network points in your space. Keep the route clear and make your measurements from that plan.
