Nedis Optical Audio Cable TosLink Male Mini-TosLink 1.00 M Round PVC Black Label

Nedis Optical Audio Cable TosLink Male Mini-TosLink 1.00 M Round PVC Black Label | A short optical audio connection

The defining choice here is the optical connection: one TosLink male plug and one Mini-TosLink male plug. That makes this 1.00 m Nedis cable relevant when the two audio devices you want to connect have those different optical sockets. It’s a compact length for a nearby connection, rather than a cable intended to span a room. The round PVC cable has a straightforward shape and black finish, so it’s easy to identify among other leads. Use it for an optical audio link between a device with a TosLink socket and one with a Mini-TosLink socket. The connector types are the key detail to match; the cable’s short length is the other. If those suit your setup, this is a simple, specific cable for joining the two. There’s no need to choose a longer run if the devices sit close together.

Matching the connection

Check the sockets at both ends of the intended link: this cable has male plugs, with TosLink at one end and Mini-TosLink at the other. The different plug sizes make the cable’s purpose clear. It isn’t a pair of identical-ended optical leads, so its value is in bridging those two connector types in one short run. At 1.00 m, allow enough length for the route between the devices without assuming extra reach for a distant position. Its round PVC construction and black colour are useful identifying details when you’re sorting cables or looking for this particular lead. Keep the product name handy if you need to distinguish it from other optical audio cables.
