Nedis Scart Male | Scart Female / 3.5 mm Female | 480p | 0.20 M | PVC | Black | Short reach for close connections

A SCART setup can be awkward when the connector arrangement you have doesn’t match the one you need. This Nedis cable brings a male SCART plug together with a female SCART connection and a female 3.5 mm socket. It’s intended for setups that call for those connector types in that arrangement, rather than a longer cable run. At 0.20 m, it’s a short link, so the connected equipment needs to sit close by. The stated resolution is 480p, and the cable has a black PVC covering. That makes it a straightforward option when you’re matching an existing connection layout and want to keep the wiring compact. One honest point: its short reach leaves little room to move the equipment once everything is connected.

Choosing the right connection

Start by looking at the ports on the equipment you plan to connect. With adapters, the shape of the connector is only part of the match: the male and female ends need to meet the sockets and plugs in your setup in the right places. It’s also sensible to consider the signal direction and picture format your setup requires, rather than assuming that a connector match alone covers every use. If you’re replacing an existing lead, compare its connection layout with this one before making the change. That small check can save time spent rearranging cables after the equipment is already in place.
