Nedis Speaker-Cable | 2X 2.50 mm² | CCA | 100.0m | Round

Nedis Speaker-Cable | A long run, cut to suit your layout

The 100.0m length is the useful distinction here: it gives you room to plan a speaker-cable run around your actual space, rather than trying to make a short ready-made lead fit. This Nedis cable suits anyone wiring speakers over a longer route or laying cable through several parts of a room. Its two 2.50 mm² conductors are made from CCA, and the cable has a round profile. That makes it a straightforward option to consider when you need cable by the metre for a fixed installation. The honest trade-off is that a long length takes a little planning: measure the route before you start, so you know how much cable your setup needs. If you’re working out a new layout, this gives you one continuous length to plan with.

Plan the route before you begin

Start by tracing the path from your amplifier or other source to each speaker, then measure that path rather than the straight-line distance between the endpoints. A run may need to follow a wall, go around a doorway or take a different route to keep it out of the way. Add a little allowance for those turns and for connecting the ends; a tight measurement can leave you short once the cable is in place. If you’re wiring more than one speaker, work out each route separately before deciding how to divide the available length. It’s a simple step, but it makes the actual installation calmer and helps avoid cutting a piece too short. This cable is sold by its stated length, so plan your cuts around the layout you intend to use.
