Nedis Stereo-Audio Cable 3.5 mm Female 2X 3.5 mm Male Gold Plated

Nedis Stereo-Audio Cable 3.5 mm Female 2X 3.5 mm Male Gold Plated | A specific connector layout for stereo audio

When an audio connection has the wrong end, even a simple setup can become a frustrating puzzle. This Nedis stereo-audio cable has one 3.5 mm female connection and two 3.5 mm male plugs, for equipment that calls for precisely that arrangement. The contacts are gold plated. Its value is in that particular connector layout, rather than any claim of universal fit: the ports on the equipment need to match the cable ends. It may suit you when replacing a missing lead or connecting equipment with this specific layout. One honest point: matching connector shapes alone doesn’t tell you how a device routes audio. If the intended use isn’t clear, look at the port labels or connection diagram for your equipment before choosing this cable.

Choosing the right connection

Start by identifying the port on each piece of equipment and the plug or socket it needs. The cable’s single socket has to meet a plug, and its two plugs have to meet sockets. That sounds obvious, but audio connections can be easy to mix up when several similar-looking ports sit close together. Also consider what the cable is expected to do in your setup. A particular connector arrangement doesn’t, by itself, establish which signals each connection carries or which devices will work together. If you’ve already identified this exact arrangement as the one you need, the Nedis cable gives you a direct way to make that connection. If you’re working from a general description like “audio lead,” take a moment to identify the port layout first. It’s a small step that can save you from ending up with a cable that has the right general look but the wrong connection for your setup.
