Nedis USB-Cable USB 2.0 USB-A Male USB-A Female 480 Mbps 2.00 M Round

Nedis USB-Cable USB 2.0 USB-A Male USB-A Female 480 Mbps 2.00 M Round | Add two metres to a USB-A connection

Without an extension, connected equipment has to stay close enough for its existing lead to reach. This Nedis USB cable adds length to a USB-A connection, with a USB-A male plug at one end and a USB-A female socket at the other. It’s a straightforward option when a USB-A cable or port falls just short of where you need it. The cable is 2.00 m long, uses USB 2.0 and has a stated transfer rate of 480 Mbps. Its round cable is black. That makes its purpose clear: it adds reach to a USB-A link rather than changing the connector type. It’s best suited to a simple setup where this plug-and-socket arrangement is what you need. One practical point: measure the route, not just the gap between the two connection points, and leave a little slack for turns.

A quick fit check

Before routing the cable, consider where it needs to go. A lead crossing a desk or running behind a shelf may need more length than the straight-line distance suggests. Allow room for the cable to follow the edge of furniture, and avoid pulling it taut if you expect to move the connected equipment. This is a modest solution to a specific problem: a USB-A connection that nearly reaches, but doesn’t quite get there.

It won’t solve every cable-layout issue, and it isn’t a connector converter. If the connection you need uses a different plug type, this isn’t the format for that job. For a USB-A setup that needs extra reach, though, the male-to-female layout is easy to understand and plan around.
