Nitze Zijhandgreep w/ 3/8 Screw EN ARRI Loc Pins (PA22-H5)

Nitze Side Handle with 3/8 Screw and ARRI Loc Pins (PA22-H5) | A side grip with a clearly named connection

The Nitze Side Handle with 3/8 Screw and ARRI Loc Pins (PA22-H5) has a 3/8 screw connection and ARRI locating pins. It’s for camera operators and filmmakers building a rig that calls for a side handle with these connection details. A side grip gives you a place to hold the rig from its side; here, the specific mounting arrangement is the important detail. If you’re selecting parts for a particular build, compare that arrangement with the mounting point you plan to use. This isn’t a handle to choose on shape alone: the named connection should suit the setup. The PA22-H5 model name also helps distinguish this part when you’re planning or documenting a rig.

Think about where you want your hand to sit before settling on a side-handle position. The grip’s location affects how you carry and guide a rig, so it’s worth considering your usual operating posture and the other parts already in place. Those choices depend on your build; this product name identifies the handle and its connection, not a complete rig layout.

For a tidy equipment list, keep the model reference alongside the handle description. That makes it easier to identify the part when you’re comparing components for a build or discussing the setup with a colleague. The honest point is simple: the useful information here is specific, but it doesn’t describe every part of a rig. Treat the handle as one component, and make your selection around the connection your setup requires.
