Novoflex Adapter Canon FD (Geen EOS) Lens To Nikon Z
Novoflex Adapter Canon FD (Geen EOS) Lens To Nikon Z | Use Canon FD lenses on Nikon Z
Getting a Canon FD lens onto a Nikon Z camera calls for an adapter made for those two specific mounts. This Novoflex adapter provides that link, so you can use a Canon FD lens on a Nikon Z body. The distinction in the name matters: it’s for Canon FD lenses, not Canon EOS lenses. If you have a favourite FD lens, or have found one you’d like to use, this gives you a way to bring it into a Nikon Z setup rather than leaving it aside because the mounts differ. It’s a focused solution for photographers who want to combine those particular lens and camera systems. Before choosing it, look at the mount marking on your lens: it should say Canon FD. That simple check helps avoid mixing up FD and EOS, which aren’t interchangeable names for the lens mount this adapter accepts.
Specialist Note
For a posed portrait at 1/250 sec, I’d consider this adapter when the lens you want to use is clearly marked Canon FD and the camera is a Nikon Z. The FD marking identifies the lens end of the pairing; the Nikon Z name tells you which camera system this adapter is intended to connect it to. That makes it a specific answer for someone who wants to use an FD lens in a Z setup, rather than a general-purpose mount solution. One important limit: Canon EOS lenses aren’t the lenses this adapter is made for. I’d read the mount marking before buying, especially if your lenses come from more than one Canon system.
