Paterson PAT250 High Speed Washer (30x40)

Paterson PAT250 High Speed Washer (30x40) | For darkroom print washing

For washing photographic prints in a darkroom, the Paterson PAT250 High Speed Washer is a dedicated washer identified for 30x40 work. It suits photographers who process prints themselves and want a washer as part of that hands-on darkroom routine. The useful point here is the specific size in the name: it gives you a clear reference when choosing equipment for your print-washing setup, without needing to guess from a broad product category. “High Speed” is also part of the model name, though it doesn’t tell us how the washer achieves that or provide a washing time. I’d treat the Paterson PAT250 as a focused darkroom tool, rather than read extra features into its name. If you’re putting together or updating a print-processing area, the 30x40 designation is the detail to match against the work you plan to do.

A print washer belongs to the washing stage of a darkroom print workflow. That makes this product relevant to people making prints in a traditional photographic process, rather than to someone looking for a general-purpose household washer. The title gives two useful identifiers to keep in view: Paterson PAT250 and 30x40. The latter is presented as a size, but no unit is included in the product name, so it’s best to retain the 30x40 designation as written when comparing it with your setup. The “High Speed” wording is part of the name too; it’s not a stated measurement or a promise of a particular processing time. In short, this is a specifically named darkroom washer for photographers who want to wash their own prints and need the 30x40 designation.
