Permajet Baryta Rag 310GSM 24INCHES 15m

Permajet Baryta Rag 310GSM 24INCHES 15m | A wide-format paper roll

When you’re planning a set of photographic prints and need paper in a wide format, the roll size is a practical place to start. Permajet Baryta Rag is photo paper with a 24-inch width, a length of 15 metres and a stated weight of 310gsm. Those are the concrete details in the product name, alongside “Baryta Rag”, which identifies the paper. It’s suited to printmakers and photographers choosing paper by its named type and roll dimensions, especially when they want to plan several prints from one length. The width and length help you assess how the roll relates to the sizes you intend to print; the weight gives you another specific figure to compare as you choose paper. There’s no point guessing at a paper’s appearance from its name alone, so I’d start with the dimensions and the Baryta Rag designation.

Planning around the roll

Before settling on a paper, it helps to sketch out the print sizes you expect to make and consider how they’ll fit within the available width. With a 15-metre length, you can also think through how many sheets or print sections your planned work might require. The actual number depends on your chosen print dimensions and how you arrange them, so it’s best to work that out from your own layout rather than assume a fixed yield. That small bit of planning can help you decide whether this format makes sense for your work. Permajet Baryta Rag gives you a named paper type and clear dimensions to use in that decision. The honest takeaway is simple: choose it when those figures and that paper designation match what you’re looking for.
