Permajet Smooth Pearl 280 60inch 30MTR

Permajet Smooth Pearl 280 60inch 30MTR | Wide-format photo paper in a long roll

Buying photo paper in sheets makes sense for small jobs; this Permajet is named in a 60-inch, 30-metre format, for work planned around a wide roll. It’s Smooth Pearl 280 photo paper, suited to photographers and print rooms preparing larger prints or a run of images rather than reaching for a small stack of sheets. The width gives you room to plan broad images or arrange narrower prints across the paper, while the stated length provides a substantial run for your print schedule. Those dimensions are the useful starting point when deciding if this format suits the work you have in mind. The practical value here is straightforward: a wide format and a long length to plan around. I’d choose it for a workflow where those dimensions matter, rather than assume the name alone tells you how a particular print will look.

For layout planning, start with the 60-inch width and the shape of the images you intend to print. A wide roll can make sense when your output varies in size or when several narrower prints can be laid out across the paper. The 30-metre length gives you room to plan a sequence of print jobs from the same roll, rather than treating every image as a separate sheet purchase. That approach is most useful when you already know the kind of print work you’re preparing; the roll dimensions are specific, but the right fit depends on your own layouts and output needs.

The product name also gives you two identifiers to keep together when comparing paper for a print workflow: Smooth Pearl 280 and the 60-inch, 30-metre format. If those match the job you’re planning, this is a clear option to consider. Keep the dimensions in view when working out how the paper will be used, and choose it for the format you need—not on assumptions about results that aren’t part of the product name.
