PGYTECH Variabel ND-Filter (2-5 Stops) For DJI Mavic Air 2S
PGYTECH Variable ND Filter (2–5 Stops) for DJI Mavic Air 2S | Keep motion natural in bright light
Bright daylight can push your DJI Mavic Air 2S toward very fast shutter speeds, making motion in video look abrupt. This variable ND filter reduces the light reaching the camera, giving you more room to choose a slower shutter speed and keep movement looking more natural. Its adjustable strength covers 2 to 5 stops, so you can adapt the light reduction to the scene rather than relying on one fixed level. That makes it useful for daylight video and for aerial scenes where you want moving water, roads or other motion to feel less sharply frozen. It suits Mavic Air 2S owners who want more control over exposure in bright conditions, without changing the look they’re aiming for just to keep the image from getting too bright. The range is specific and practical; it’s a tool for managing light, not a substitute for choosing your exposure.
Specialist Note
New drone owners often leave the shutter speed to fend for itself in strong sun, then find that movement in their video looks harsher than expected. This filter helps by cutting incoming light, so you can use a slower shutter while keeping exposure under control. For a bright-day flight, start near the 2-stop end and increase the reduction toward 5 stops as the scene calls for it. That can help keep passing traffic or waves looking more fluid in your footage. It’s made for the DJI Mavic Air 2S, so it’s a focused add-on for owners of that drone. One limit to keep in mind: its adjustment stops at 5 stops, so it can’t provide unlimited light reduction in every condition.
