Portkeys HDV1 - HDMI Splitter 1 In 2 Out

Portkeys HDV1 - HDMI Splitter 1 In 2 Out | One HDMI input, two outputs

Its defining detail is right in the name: the Portkeys HDV1 takes one HDMI input and provides two outputs. That makes it relevant when you need a one-to-two HDMI split, rather than a product with a different input and output arrangement. It’s a specialist accessory for a setup built around a single HDMI source and two output connections. The useful part is its clear, specific role; there’s no need to guess what the connection layout is meant to be. If that’s the arrangement you’re looking for, the HDV1 gives you the named split in a compact product category familiar to camera users. One honest point: the title tells us the connection count, not the supported formats or operating limits, so I’d avoid assuming more than the one-in, two-out layout when planning a setup.

A straightforward HDMI split

Think of the HDV1 in terms of the signal path you need: one HDMI input, followed by two HDMI outputs. It’s suited to a workflow where a single source needs to connect through a splitter to two destinations. That’s the practical distinction to keep in mind when comparing it with accessories designed around other connection layouts.

The name is refreshingly specific, but it doesn’t answer every setup question. The number of connections is clear; details such as supported resolution, power requirements and particular device compatibility aren’t part of the information available here. For that reason, this description stays with what the product is identified as: an HDMI splitter with one input and two outputs. If those connection numbers match the job, the HDV1 is a focused option to consider. If your setup calls for a different layout, this isn’t the description to stretch into claims it doesn’t make.
