Radius Windcover For Rycote Supershield Medium
Radius Windcover For Rycote Supershield Medium | Everyday bag protection
Radius Windcover For Rycote Supershield Medium is a protective pouch for the Rycote Supershield Medium windcover, made for people who want to keep that gear from picking up scratches and bumps inside a larger bag. It’s a straightforward bit of protection for audio professionals and anyone packing this windcover alongside other equipment. Put the windcover in the pouch before placing it in your bag, and it has a separate layer between it and the rest of your kit. That’s where this product is genuinely useful: everyday storage and transport, rather than changing how the windcover performs. If your Supershield is often carried with other gear, a dedicated pouch helps keep it together and reduces contact with items that could scuff or knock it. It’s a simple addition for keeping your bag better organised.
Specialist Note
At the packing table, with a larger bag open and audio gear ready to go, this pouch has a clear job: give the Rycote Supershield Medium windcover its own place. I’d use it for one windcover, then pack the pouch alongside the rest of the kit to help guard against scuffs and everyday knocks. That makes sense for sound recordists and crews who regularly move this particular Supershield between storage and a working bag. The useful detail is its specific fit for the Medium windcover; you’re choosing protection for that piece of gear, not a general-purpose camera case. I’d think of it as scratch-and-bump protection, not a promise against a hard impact.
