Radius Windcover For Rycote WS9 Windshield Black Fur
Radius Windcover For Rycote WS9 Windshield Black Fur | Keep it protected in your kit bag
Radius Windcover For Rycote WS9 Windshield Black Fur is a protective pouch for the black-fur WS9 windcover, intended for sound teams who carry that setup between locations. Its role is simple: help keep the gear from rubbing against other items and taking knocks when it travels inside a larger bag. That makes it a sensible addition for location recordists, filmmakers and anyone packing a WS9 alongside other production gear. The value here is storage protection, rather than an extra recording feature: the pouch gives the windcover its own place in a busy bag and helps shield it from everyday scuffs and bumps. If your WS9 often goes in and out of a kit bag, a dedicated pouch can make packing more orderly. It’s specifically named for the Rycote WS9 windshield, so it isn’t a general-purpose camera pouch.
Specialist Note
For crews recording interviews, dialogue or documentary sound on location, this pouch is a practical companion to the Rycote WS9 black-fur windcover. The WS9 reference matters: it tells you which windshield setup this pouch is intended for, rather than suggesting it’s a catch-all case. And the black-fur version is clearly identified, which helps when you’re keeping accessories together for a particular rig. I’d use it when packing the windcover inside a larger kit bag; giving it a separate place helps protect it from the scratches and bumps caused by surrounding gear. Its job is modest but useful: protection while stored or carried, not an added recording function.
