Le Ricoh Singlex TLS a été introduit par Ricoh en juin 1967, activé par un obturateur métallique à déplacement vertical de Copal et doté d'une mesure TTL. Le Ricoh Singlex TLS a également été vendu aux États-Unis par Sears sous le nom de Sears TLS et par Kmart sous le nom de Focal 1000 TLX. Le Chinonflex TTL est une autre variante et, sous cette forme, a été rebaptisé par Porst sous le nom de Porst Uniflex TTL en Allemagne.
