SanDisk SDXC Extreme Pro 2TB (UHS-II V60 U3 C10 R300 MB/S/W250 MB/s 6K)

SanDisk SDXC Extreme Pro 2TB | High capacity for 6K workflows

Without a high-capacity card, a long recording session can mean stopping to swap media. The SanDisk SDXC Extreme Pro 2TB gives you 2TB on a single SD card, making it a practical option for photographers and video creators who want room for substantial shoots. Its title also specifies 6K, so it’s aimed at workflows where high-resolution recording is part of the job. The stated read and write figures are 300 MB/s and 250 MB/s, respectively. Those numbers are useful when comparing cards, though they don’t tell you how quickly every camera will transfer files in practice. UHS-II, V60, U3 and C10 are also printed in the product name. If you’re choosing media for a particular recording setup, those labels are worth comparing with the device’s own requirements.

For shoots with plenty of files

Capacity is the main practical draw here: 2TB leaves space for a large body of material on one card, rather than requiring you to plan around a smaller card filling up. That can make sense for longer sessions or projects with high-resolution files. The honest trade-off is that a card’s headline speed figures aren’t a promise of identical results in every setup. The camera, card reader and transfer process all matter to the time you’ll see in use.

The 6K marking gives a clear indication of the kind of recording workflow this card is presented for. Still, recording depends on the requirements of the device you use. Match its supported SD format and speed classifications to the card before building a shoot around it; that’s a more reliable guide than relying on a product name alone.
