Its 1.33X anamorphic squeeze is designed to produce a wider presentation when the footage is desqueezed. This interchangeable lens has a Leica L mount and is intended for video and filmmaking. The estimated 21° angle of view favours planned, composed shots over broad room coverage. It suits filmmakers shaping dialogue scenes, portrait-style inserts or details into a widescreen sequence, particularly when there’s time to choose camera position and subject distance.
