SmallHD V-Mount Battery Bracket
SmallHD V-Mount Battery Bracket | Bring battery support into your monitor setup
A field-monitor setup can be easier to manage when its battery has a dedicated place in the arrangement. The SmallHD V-Mount Battery Bracket is made for that role: it brings a V-mount battery into a SmallHD monitor setup, helping keep power and monitoring together as part of your working rig. It’s relevant to camera operators and crew who use a field monitor and want the battery to be part of the setup rather than a separate item to position. The product name gives you the key details: it’s a SmallHD bracket, and it’s for a V-mount battery. That makes its purpose clear without suggesting a particular monitor model or mounting arrangement. It’s best suited to building a monitor setup around V-mount power; the bracket’s job is to support that arrangement, not to replace the battery or monitor.
Specialist Note
A common first-time oversight is to choose the battery and think about where it goes only after setting up the monitor. This bracket puts the V-mount battery arrangement into the plan from the start, which is useful when you want power to be part of your SmallHD field-monitor rig. I’d consider it for a camera-side monitoring setup or a field station where keeping the monitor and its battery together makes the layout easier to organise. The useful details here are the V-mount format and the bracket itself: the first identifies the battery system, while the second gives that battery a place in the setup. Match your planned arrangement to the particular monitor and rig you use.
