SmallRig SR6359 Quick Release Backplate w/ USB-C Port For DJI Osmo Pocket 4 3 | Quick-release design for a tripod setup

The defining decision is a quick-release backplate: SmallRig has made a tripod accessory around a backplate that’s intended to detach quickly, rather than a complete tripod. That suits DJI Osmo Pocket users who want a more direct way to work with a tripod setup and prefer an accessory designed for their named camera system. The SR6359 also has a USB-C port built into the backplate, so the connection point is part of the accessory’s design rather than a separate detail. Its appeal is specific: it brings together the quick-release backplate and USB-C port in one camera accessory. If you’re building a compact setup around the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 3, this is the SmallRig part to consider. It’s a focused piece of kit, not a general-purpose tripod or a broad camera support system.

Specialist Note

For people making clips with the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 3 and moving between handheld filming and a tripod setup, this backplate is worth a close look. The quick-release design is the detail to choose it for: it’s intended to make removing the backplate a quicker part of changing your setup. The USB-C port is another defining feature, built into the backplate itself; I’d choose this model when having that port on the accessory matters to your setup, rather than assuming it does a particular job. Its product identifier is SR6359, which is handy when matching this exact SmallRig accessory to your kit. Just bear in mind it’s a tripod accessory, not a tripod in its own right.
