In effect, the fully multi-coated optics provide maximum light transmission, which results in bright, sharp views of the world.
Pentax took protective measures a step further by adding a nanotechnology coating. This protective layer repels water, oil, dust, and dirt, making the binocular suitable for use in various weather conditions. It utilizes BaK4 glass prism revered for its superior refractive index. The consequence is a perfect round exit pupil and a brilliantly clear image.
