SWIT S-7108 S-7108 | Pole To Pole DC Cable

SWIT S-7108 Pole To Pole DC Cable | For pole-to-pole DC connections

The SWIT S-7108 Pole To Pole DC Cable is a pole-to-pole DC cable, intended for operators whose setup calls for that specific connection type. Its clearest use is right there in the name: pole to pole, for DC. That makes it relevant when those words match the cable requirement for your equipment. The model number also gives you a precise identifier when you’re selecting or organising cables for a shoot. It’s a focused description, not a claim that the cable suits every power setup. For a crew, rental desk or individual operator, the practical benefit is knowing exactly which cable designation you’re looking at. If pole-to-pole DC is what your setup calls for, the S-7108 is straightforward to identify.

A clear cable designation

With cables, the connection you need matters more than a broad category name. “DC cable” describes the general type, while “Pole To Pole” narrows the description to the connection named for this model. Use the full designation when matching the S-7108 to a cable requirement or keeping it distinct from other cables in a kit. That’s a simple habit, but it helps avoid relying on a partial label such as “DC cable” alone. The model name is also useful when discussing a specific cable with colleagues: SWIT S-7108 is more precise than asking for a pole-to-pole lead without identifying the product. There’s no need to dress this one up as a universal solution. It has a clearly stated role, and it makes most sense when that role matches the job.
