Tilta Esr-T08-BP-V Battery Plate For Red V-Raptor - V Mount
Tilta Esr-T08-BP-V Battery Plate For Red V-Raptor - V Mount | V-mount support for handheld video work
Tilta Esr-T08-BP-V Battery Plate For Red V-Raptor - V Mount is a V-mount battery plate made for the RED V-RAPTOR. It’s for video operators building a handheld setup around that camera, especially when the rig needs extra support during filming. The product is classed as a shoulder rig, so its role is tied to supported handheld work rather than simply being a standalone battery accessory. It suits crews putting together a camera-specific rig for interviews, moving coverage or other takes where working handheld is part of the plan. The useful point is the combination named in the product: a plate for the RED V-RAPTOR with a V-mount battery format. That gives you a clearly defined part for a particular camera build. It isn’t presented as a general-purpose plate, so keep its intended camera and mount in mind when planning your rig.
Specialist Note
In a handheld build, this plate is intended to sit within a shoulder-rig setup, helping make the camera more supported during video work. I’d consider it for RED V-RAPTOR operators setting up handheld interviews or moving coverage, where the shoulder rig is part of how you’ll carry and control the camera. The V-mount detail tells you which battery format this plate is built around, while the RED V-RAPTOR name makes its camera fit specific. The T08 identifier is handy when you’re matching the part to a rig plan or parts list. One point to keep in view: this isn’t described as a universal plate, so it makes most sense in that named camera setup.
