Tilta TK-IP17-PMBP-BG Khronos Multi-Func. Backplate iPhone 17 Pro Max - Beige | A dedicated backplate for a tripod setup

The defining choice here is a backplate made for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, rather than a general-purpose tripod accessory. That model-specific naming makes it easier to choose the right part when you’re building a tripod-based setup around this phone. The Tilta TK-IP17-PMBP-BG is a Khronos Multi-Function Backplate in beige, intended for customers who want an accessory designed around that particular iPhone and prefer a coordinated, neutral colour. Its role is specific: it’s a backplate, not a tripod or a phone. That makes it relevant to iPhone users putting together a dedicated support setup for filming or making still images. The product name doesn’t spell out the individual functions, so I’d focus on what’s clear: this is a specialist tripod accessory for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, with a beige finish, rather than a universal plate for different phones.

Specialist Note

Keeping the setup centred on one phone model makes choosing this backplate straightforward: it’s named for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, so it suits someone assembling a tripod-based rig around that device. The “Multi-Function” name points to a backplate intended as more than a generic plate, while beige gives the rig a softer look than a black accessory. I’d consider it for a fixed phone-video position at home or for tripod-supported stills, where you want the backplate to be part of a setup built around your iPhone 17 Pro Max. The honest caveat is its specificity: it’s for that named phone, not a general option for a changing mix of devices.
