The Wimberley AP 503 has been designed as a replacement for the default foot on the Nikon 600mm f/6.3Z VR S-Line lens. It is precision-engineered to slide directly into an Arca-Swiss-style quick release clamp. Moreover, it comes with tapped holes of 1/4" and 3/8" for mounting on non-quick release tripod heads and monopods. Like all replacement feet from Wimberley, the AP-503 includes duplicate safety stops and flash bracket compatibility, akin to the lens plates.

This custom-made low-profile replacement foot substitutes the factory foot on your lens's rotation collar. Additionally, it serves as the Arca-Swiss-style quick release plate for your lens, thereby eliminating the need for an additional quick release plate. This makes your lens more manageable on a conventional tripod head such as a ball head, and also makes it easier to carry around.
