Wooden Camera 900129 Unified DSLR 15mm Baseplate Posts Only
Wooden Camera 900129 Unified DSLR 15mm Baseplate Posts Only | The posts-only baseplate component
Unlike a complete baseplate, this is the posts-only component for Wooden Camera’s Unified DSLR 15mm Baseplate setup. That distinction makes it useful when you need these parts for an existing DSLR rig, rather than a full baseplate. The product is a tripod accessory, but its name points to a specific role in a 15mm baseplate arrangement; it isn’t a general-purpose tripod item. It suits DSLR operators building or maintaining a rig around that setup, especially if the posts are the part they need to add or replace. Its strongest use is a focused one: sourcing the posts without buying a complete baseplate assembly. Keep the “Posts Only” wording in mind when planning your build. If you need the whole baseplate, this listing isn’t that; if the posts are what your setup calls for, it keeps the purchase specific.
Specialist Note
Newcomers can mistake a posts-only item for a complete baseplate; this one makes the distinction right in its name, so you can choose the part your build actually needs. The 15mm wording ties it to the named baseplate format, which is useful when keeping a DSLR rig consistent with that setup. I’d consider it when assembling that arrangement, or when replacing posts rather than starting over with a complete baseplate. The practical limit is just as clear: posts alone won’t give you the full baseplate. If that’s already covered in your rig, though, this is a nicely focused part to look at.
