Yongnuo YN60 RGB II LED Lamp - WB (2500 K - 9900 K) White

Yongnuo YN60 RGB II LED Lamp - WB (2500 K - 9900 K) White | RGB colour and adjustable white balance

What sets the Yongnuo YN60 RGB II apart is the combination of RGB light and a stated white-balance range from 2500 K to 9900 K. It’s a continuous LED lamp for photographers and video makers who want to choose between coloured light and white light with a broad range of colour temperatures. That gives you room to shape the feel of a scene: warmer white can suit a cosy look, while cooler white can feel more neutral or crisp. RGB adds another option when you want colour in the lighting itself. The YN60 RGB II is best suited to planned setups where the light’s colour matters, rather than situations where you simply need an unspecified source of illumination. The product name identifies this version as White, and its listed range gives you a clear starting point when you’re matching the light to the mood you have in mind.

Choosing a look

For a portrait, a coloured light can add a deliberate splash to a background or provide a different look on the subject. For a product shot, white light may be the more natural starting point, with the colour temperature helping you decide how warm or cool the scene should feel. These are creative uses of the lamp’s stated RGB and white-balance capabilities, not a promise of a particular effect; the result depends on the scene and how you use the light.

The temperature figures are useful when you’re planning a setup: 2500 K is at the warm end of the stated range, and 9900 K is at the cool end. If you already have a particular look in mind, those numbers make it easier to decide whether this range suits the job. It’s a straightforward way to think about the YN60 RGB II: coloured light when colour is part of the idea, and adjustable white when it isn’t.
