Zhiyun Octagonal Softbox 40D (ZY Mount) G60 X100

Zhiyun Octagonal Softbox 40D (ZY Mount) G60 X100 | An octagonal softbox for a named ZY setup

When you’re choosing a modifier for a Zhiyun light setup, matching the mount and product designation matters. This is the Zhiyun Octagonal Softbox 40D, identified with a ZY mount and the G60 X100 designation. Its octagonal shape is part of the product’s identity, while “softbox” tells you the kind of light-shaping accessory it is. That makes it a specific option to consider when you’re planning a setup around the names shown in the title, rather than a general-purpose accessory with an unclear fit. The title gives a few useful identifiers, but it doesn’t explain what “40D” denotes, so I wouldn’t treat that as a measurement. In short, this is a clearly named octagonal softbox for shoppers looking at the stated ZY mount and G60 X100 setup.

Check the product name against your setup

For a considered purchase, start with the exact wording: Zhiyun, Octagonal Softbox 40D, ZY Mount, G60 X100. Those details help distinguish this item from other softboxes and accessories. The mount name is especially useful when you’re narrowing down options; the G60 X100 wording gives you another part of the product identification to compare with the light setup you have in mind. The octagonal shape is also clear from the name, so you can choose it when that form is what you’re looking for. I’d keep the model designation intact when searching or comparing listings, rather than reading extra meaning into “40D.” It’s a fairly compact product name, but it provides a direct set of labels for identifying the softbox.
