3 Legged Thing Ultra Plate Cine 100 XP Plate Black
3 Legged Thing Ultra Plate Cine 100 XP Plate Black | A focused tripod plate
3 Legged Thing Ultra Plate Cine 100 XP Plate Black is a black tripod accessory plate for photographers and filmmakers working with tripod-based setups. It’s aimed at people building a Cine-oriented kit who need a plate accessory, rather than a complete support system. Its best use is as part of a considered tripod workflow for static framing, such as seated interviews or product shots where you want to take time setting the composition. The product name identifies the Cine 100 XP Plate, while the black finish gives it a discreet look alongside dark support gear. Those details make it easier to recognise what this accessory is for: adding a plate to a tripod setup. It isn’t a tripod in itself, so the rest of your support equipment still matters. If a plate accessory is the part your setup needs, this is a clearly named option from 3 Legged Thing.
Specialist Note
Filmmakers shooting seated interviews or tabletop product clips are the people I’d point towards this plate. I’d keep it with the tripod setup you use for those jobs, then settle your framing before recording; that helps make the support arrangement repeatable from one take to the next. The black finish stays visually quiet beside dark rig equipment, which is useful when you want the hardware to draw little attention. The “100” in Cine 100 XP is part of the product name, not a measurement to plan your setup around. It’s a plate accessory rather than a complete tripod, so pair it with the support gear your filming setup calls for.
