7Ryms iRay DW10 Wireless Microphone w/ 1 Transmitter Black
7Ryms iRay DW10 Wireless Microphone w/ 1 Transmitter Black | Record a solo voice without a mic cable
Your solo recordings can keep the speaker free of a cable running to the microphone. The 7Ryms iRay DW10 is a wireless microphone supplied as a one-transmitter configuration, making it a straightforward match for filming or recording one person speaking. Think of a video introduction, a presenter addressing the camera, or an interview with one speaker at a time. Its appeal is focused: it gives a solo creator a wireless microphone setup without adding a second transmitter to manage. The black finish keeps the look simple alongside dark clothing or equipment. If your usual recordings involve one voice, this is the setup to consider; if you need to mic two people at once, one transmitter won't cover both speakers independently. There’s no need to choose it for a long list of features—the useful distinction here is a wireless mic with one transmitter for single-speaker work.
For a talking-head video, keep the recording centred on one speaker and let the wireless connection remove the direct microphone cable from their setup. It also suits a one-person interview when you want the guest to speak naturally rather than pass a microphone back and forth. The product name identifies the transmitter count, but not a particular camera or phone pairing, so choose it based on the recording system you already use only after checking that system’s requirements.
Specialist Note
The 7Ryms iRay DW10 is best at giving one speaker a wireless microphone setup. I’d consider it for a solo presenter or a one-person interview: with one transmitter, the arrangement stays focused on a single voice rather than trying to cover two speakers separately. For a camera-facing introduction, have the presenter deliver the piece on their own; for an interview, use this setup for the guest and keep the conversation to one mic’d speaker. The black finish is a restrained option if you’d rather avoid a bright-looking accessory in the frame. One honest limitation is right in the configuration: it’s a one-transmitter product, so it isn’t the pick for recording two people independently at the same time.
