7Ryms iRay DW40 Wireless Microphone w/ 4 Transmitters White
7Ryms iRay DW40 Wireless Microphone w/ 4 Transmitters White | Capture conversations with four speakers
Keep a group conversation moving without asking everyone to take turns around one microphone. The white 7Ryms iRay DW40 is a wireless microphone system with four transmitters, suited to creators who record interviews, panel discussions or conversations with several people. Its four-transmitter setup gives you a way to plan for multiple speakers in the same recording, while the wireless design avoids relying on a wired microphone for each person. That can make a group recording feel less tied to one spot and easier to organise. It’s worth thinking about who will speak and when before you begin: having four transmitters gives you options, but it doesn’t remove the need to guide a conversation. If you make videos with guests, collaborators or a small group, the DW40 is a focused option to consider. The white finish gives it a distinct look; the main reason to choose it is the four-person format.
For interviews and group conversations
Four transmitters are most relevant when several people need to contribute to one recording, rather than when you’re filming a solo presentation. For an interview, decide who will speak and make sure everyone has a clear turn; for a round-table discussion, agree on a simple speaking order to avoid people talking over one another. That’s practical preparation, not a technical feature of the microphone. The wireless design also makes a recording less dependent on running a microphone cable to each speaker. It’s a sensible format to explore for conversational video, provided it suits the rest of your recording setup.
Specialist Note
First-time buyers often plan for the camera and forget to count the people who need to speak; the DW40’s four transmitters make that part of the decision clear from the start. I’d consider it for a guest interview or a small group discussion, where you can assign one transmitter to each speaker and keep the conversation moving. Because it’s wireless, you’re not planning around a cable running to every person, which can make arranging a group less fussy. One honest point: four transmitters are most useful when you really do record several voices; for a solo presenter, that capacity may be more than you need. The white version is a good fit if you want the microphone setup to have a lighter look on camera.
