ACT 1.2m TosLink Audio Connec Cable Male-Male Zip Bag
ACT 1.2m TosLink Audio Connection Cable Male-Male Zip Bag | A direct optical audio link
When you want to connect an audio source to an amplifier or other audio component, this ACT TosLink cable provides a direct optical connection between compatible devices. It’s a straightforward way to carry digital audio through a TosLink connection, without needing to route the signal through another kind of cable. The cable is 1.2 metres long, with male connectors at both ends, so it’s intended for equipment with a TosLink output and a matching input. That makes it a practical option for a simple source-to-component connection at home or in a compact audio setup. Its fixed length is worth bearing in mind when planning where your equipment will sit: measure along the route the cable needs to take, rather than just between the devices. The cable comes in a zip bag for keeping it together when it’s not connected.
Specialist Note
This ACT cable makes a direct TosLink connection between two compatible audio components, without adding another link in the signal path. Its 1.2m length suits a source and receiver that sit close together; allow for the cable’s route around or behind your equipment when you measure. The male-to-male ends are the practical detail here: use one end at the TosLink output and the other at the matching input. I’d consider it for a compact home audio setup where those connections are within reach. It’s a fixed-length cable, so it won’t solve a longer-distance run; the zip bag is handy for keeping it together when it’s put away.
