ACT 1.8m High Performance VGA Cable Male-Male w/ Metal Hoods

ACT 1.8m High Performance VGA Cable Male-Male w/ Metal Hoods | A direct VGA link for nearby equipment

What sets this ACT cable apart is its clearly defined format: it’s a 1.8m VGA lead with male connectors at both ends and metal hoods. It suits anyone connecting equipment with matching female VGA sockets, particularly when the cable run is local rather than across a room. For a desk or a fixed work area, it offers a straightforward way to make that connection without excess cable getting in the way. The key detail to get right is the socket type at each end; this is a male-to-male cable. If that matches your setup, it’s a simple option to consider. The product name calls it high performance, but the practical reasons to choose it are its VGA format, stated length and metal-hooded ends. No fuss—just a clearly specified cable for an existing VGA setup.

Before choosing a cable, trace the route it will take between the two devices, rather than measuring only the distance between them. Allow room for the cable to follow the edge of a desk or pass around other objects, and make sure the connection points remain easy to reach. A path with bends or an awkward position can use more cable than a straight-line measurement suggests. It’s also worth identifying the sockets on both devices before you buy: connector gender matters, and the VGA connection needs to match at each end. These small checks help avoid the frustration of having a cable that reaches the devices but can’t plug into them. For a simple, direct connection, matching the cable format to the equipment is the sensible place to start.
