ACT 5 M HQ Audio Extension Cable 3.5 mm Stereo Jack M - F

ACT 5 M HQ Audio Extension Cable 3.5 mm Stereo Jack M - F | Add reach to a stereo audio connection

When an audio cable falls just short of where you need it, an extension can make the connection reach without replacing the cable you already have. The ACT 5 M HQ is an audio extension cable with a 3.5 mm stereo jack connection, using a male-to-female layout. That means one end is a male connector and the other is a female connector. It’s intended for extending an audio connection that uses this type of plug and socket; the connector details are the key things to match to your setup. The name is refreshingly clear about the basics: this is for audio, it’s a stereo jack cable, and the connector size is 3.5 mm. “M - F” describes the connector arrangement, while “HQ” is part of the product name. If you’re sorting out a particular connection, look at the plug and socket you need to join, rather than relying on the cable’s name alone. It’s a simple accessory, and its value is in giving a matching audio connection more reach.
