One of the most impressive features of this porro-prism binocular model is its full waterproof construction. To ensure maximum durability, the Pentax waterproof products are fully sealed and nitrogen-purged, allowing it to provide excellent visibility even under harsh weather conditions. With a JIS Class 6 rating, these binoculars can withstand submersion in water up to 3 meters deep.
Fully multi-coated lenses are utilized to amplify the amount of light that can pass through them, effectively reducing glare and ghosting effects. Consequently, the maximum light transmission results in a bright and sharp view of the world. Optimized film-deposition technology applied on the lens and prism surfaces also ensures highly enhanced light transmission, leading to crisp images with accurate color representation.
