B&W Case Type 3000; Bw.bag TEX.117.RPD (Photo Bag); Yellow
B&W Case Type 3000 | A hard case for demanding journeys
The defining decision here is a hard-case format: B&W has made this case for gear that needs more than a soft covering during transport or storage. The Case Type 3000, identified in the product title as Bw.bag TEX.117.RPD, suits photographers moving equipment where knocks, dust or rain are a concern. It also gives your gear a dedicated place to stay between outings, instead of being left loose among other kit. In this yellow version, the colour makes the case easy to pick out in a stack of luggage or stored equipment. Think protection-first rather than light, casual carrying: its purpose is to house your gear when you’re on the move or putting it away. Choose it for that hard-case role and its bright finish, not for a particular internal layout or feature we can’t verify.
Specialist Note
At a dawn departure, the yellow B&W Case Type 3000 is easy to pick out as you gather your camera gear. I’d suggest it to anyone who wants a hard case for moving equipment when knocks, dust or rain are a concern. Keep your gear in it for the journey, then use the same case as its home in storage between shoots; that gives the case a clear job in both parts of your routine. The yellow finish is a practical touch when several cases are together. One honest point: this is a protection-first format, so it won’t suit someone whose priority is the lightest, soft-sided carry.
